About the gap assessment

Is the gap assessment really free?
Yes. No cost, no account, no card, and no obligation afterwards. You tell us which framework you're going for, a Viglyn practitioner scopes the assessment to it, and we walk you through the result.
Which framework does it cover?
Whichever one you pick when you request it: SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27701, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, NIST CSF, DPDP, CERT-In, or more than one. If you're not sure yet, say so and we'll help you work out which standard your buyers are actually asking for.
How long does it take?
We come back within 24 hours to scope it with you. How long the assessment itself takes depends on how much of your stack is in scope and how much documentation already exists, and we'll tell you that up front rather than after we start.
Is it an audit?
No. A gap assessment tells you where you stand and what to close before an audit; it is not an audit, not an opinion, and not a certification. The audit itself is performed by an independent firm, and that opinion stays theirs.
What happens to what I send?
