How much does SOC 2 cost?

What makes SOC 2 cost more
Four things, and only one of them is ours to remove.
- Type 2 instead of Type 1: the report covers an observation window of three to twelve months, so readiness work has to hold for the whole period
- Scope: every system, team and location you bring into scope is a system that needs controls and evidence
- A second or third framework: with shared evidence it is a head start, without it a second project
- Consultant day rates: the line that most often costs more than the software, and the one Viglyn removes
